Benidorm is a large, energetic seaside resort where broad beaches meet a distinctive high-rise skyline. Its different areas can deliver quite different holidays, from lively evenings to a simpler beach-and-promenade routine. The old town offers another change of scale, making it worth looking beyond a hotel photograph when deciding which part of the resort suits you.
Levante Beach is one of the main centres of resort life, with the seafront setting much of the daily rhythm. Poniente Beach provides a second broad coastal area to explore, so your preferred stretch of sand can help determine your accommodation choice. Benidorm Old Town sits between the main beach areas and introduces narrower streets and a more traditional town layout. Spend time in each area before deciding that the entire resort has one atmosphere; the experience can change noticeably along the waterfront.
