Costa Adeje

Costa Adeje suits a Tenerife holiday centred on the seafront, with beaches, established resorts and a choice of places to eat shaping much of the day. Different parts of the coast have their own feel, so the exact accommodation location matters. It is a good starting point for a stay where relaxation takes priority and island excursions remain occasional outings.

A closer look

Find your own rhythm in Costa Adeje.

Playa del Duque offers one recognisable beach setting around which to shape a coastal day. Playa Fañabé gives you another stretch of the resort’s seafront, with the surrounding holiday area contributing as much as the sand itself.

La Caleta changes the mood towards a smaller coastal settlement and can make a worthwhile separate walk or meal outing. These places help you choose your preferred part of Costa Adeje rather than adding three compulsory stops to a beach holiday. Allow time to enjoy the promenade between nearby sections.

How to enjoy your time here

Compare the exact resort location and the walk to the beach you prefer. Check gradients and distances if an easy daily route is important. Keep longer Tenerife excursions on separate days, with realistic travel time to the north or mountains. Read recent accommodation comments about the immediate surroundings and evening atmosphere before deciding which area suits you.

Walking & access planning

We have not yet added a destination-specific official access resource to this guide. This does not mean the destination is unsuitable. Ask the accommodation, transport operator and each attraction about the exact access features you need.

A guide or accessible feature does not establish access for the whole trip. Confirm doorways, steps, gradients, walking distances, bathrooms, lifts, transfers and any assistance directly with the relevant provider.
